Clémentine
Founder & Main Host in ParisClémentine created Melting Plot with her best friend, Chanael, after realizing how hard it can be to build meaningful connections in big cities, especially once you’re done with studies and everyday life takes over.
After living in Taiwan and Morrocco, and craving deeper, more genuine connections back home in Paris, she wanted to create a space where expats and locals could meet naturally, without pressure.
Melting Plot was born from that simple idea: making it easier to show up alone, talk to strangers, and slowly turn them into familiar faces.
Chanael
Co-founder & HostOriginally from the Parisian suburbs, Chanael has been living in Paris for the past few years. During her studies, she spent time abroad in London and Vietnam - experiences that sparked her love for international environments and discovering new ways of seeing the world.
She has a constant need to keep moving, so even while living in Paris, she often escapes in her van on weekends, always looking for a new landscape, a spontaneous road trip, or a little adventure off the map.
She’s also passionate about food and loves trying new flavors wherever she goes.
Julie
Host
ParisJulie studied in the south of France before spending six months in Colombia, and she’s now based in Paris.
She loves meeting new people and connecting with individuals from all around the world, which makes Melting Plot a natural fit for her. She enjoys creating warm, welcoming spaces where conversations flow easily.
Julie speaks French, English, and Spanish, and is currently learning Chinese - so she’s always happy to switch languages and connect.
Thibault
Host
ParisThibault is half French, half English, and has been living in Paris for over a year.
Having lived and traveled in different places, he has learned one thing: it’s the people who make a place truly special.
That belief is what draws him to Melting Plot, meaningful conversations and genuine connections.
He values open-minded exchanges and the energy that comes from bringing different backgrounds together.
Lucas
Host
ParisLucas is the founder of L’Intime, a social club built around intimate live music sessions.
Originally from Colombia, he spent several years in the Netherlands before moving to Paris. He has a natural love for meeting new people and a deep passion for music — two things that inspired him to create L’Intime.
He enjoys building spaces where people can connect through culture, creativity, and shared experiences.
